CONFIDENT UAE U16 TEAM ENTERS FINAL

UAE UNDER 16 domination continues in ACC Men’s U16 West Zone Cup 2025 as they won last game against Oman by whopping margin of 209 runs.  Team who looks strong in the competition with Captain Ayaan Misbah who has scored 2 centuries in 5 matches and top scorer of the tournament got out for 41runs today, UAE batting template worked the same way posted 346 runs for 6 in 50 overs. UAE bowled Oman out for 137 runs in 34th over.

Today man of the match awardee Mohammed Nafees, who came down to bat at number 4 scored unbeaten 127 runs in 114 balls with 4 sixes and 11 fours. He batted till the end after UAE 74 for 2 in 11th over.  3rd wicket partnership 101 runs with Jaimeek Shah ( 61 from 56 balls) & 67 runs partnership with Nirvaan Shetty posted yet again strong 346 runs in 50 overs. 

In reply, Oman bowled out for 137 runs thanks to excellent spell of bowling from Aiden Manian, left arm fast bowler who got top 3 wicket for 23 runs.  Oman was struggling after Aiden spell at 24 for 3.  It was formalities after that 3 quick down as Aryan Thapar once again came up with 4 wickets at the end to seal the deal for UAE with massive victory.

Final will be played between UAE against Kuwait tomorrow as Kuwait beat Qatar in must win game. Bahrain knocked out after good start. It was good experience for Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar to participate to play some competitive cricket.
